Aleith|DM: But the Ravant just shrugs them off.
Aleith|DM: There’s several seconds of fighting off the Ravant before one of you manages to take care of it.
Zane scowls. "I want one to guard my manor. Tiny gods they just dont know when to lay down and die."
Gerald: "Anyway, I think we had one other guest to extract before blowing this place apart?"
Chandrasekhar: "Yes. Quite."
Zane: "Thisraldion is down there." He points at the tower.
Aleith|DM: General Paelyrion tries to stand up and stagger towards the lava, clutching at his golden chains, shouting, "you'll never take my gold from me…!"
Gerald: "Don't even want it, man."
Zane assists the general along through the simple expedient of grabbing those same golden chains and using them to hurl him over the balcony.
Chandrasekhar: "Keep your gold, fiend. We are here for -liberation-."
Aleith|DM: There's a satisfiying splash as he sinks into the magma.
Zane: "I have been wanting to throw someone into a volcano since Crysillyir."
Gerald‘ tilts his head towards the grandmaster. "So, you’re good to run a bit old man?"
Aleith|DM: Ernst: Looking closely at the thorne, you can see controls on it that can adjust the flow from the caldera to the rest of the fortress.
Chyak: "Yes. Freeing me from those chains certainly helped. But I'm still spry, young one. I can't fight directly against the Legion still, however. I have seen what happens to others who have tried."
Gerald: "S'fine, we got that well under control."
Zane takes a moment to start smashing mirrors on general prnciple.
Gerald‘ checks out the hallways real quick which Ernst starts flooding the place with magma in places where magma should not be.
Aleith|DM: Thievery check.
Gerald` rolled d20+21 and got 15 ( Total: 36 ) for this thievery is ont great
Aleith|DM: It’s good enough though.
Aleith|DM: You figure another check could sabotage the controls so it can't be reversed

Aleith|DM: Which is probably important as a few succubi teleport in to check on things while you’re taking a look at the throne.
Aleith|DM: Even surprised, you manage to take a couple of them down, but one of them manages to teleport away in time.
[OOC] Zane: "Succubi you say…" "GARRETT NO." "But have you considered… yes?"
[OOC] Phyllis: "Yes. I had a summoning pact with one for some time, if you don't remember."
Gerald: "Oh well we were getting to the 'run around guns blazing' part anyway."
Aleith|DM: No one's fixing that anytime soon. And you've probably got no more than a matter of minutes before everything that can't escape the plane dies a horrible death.
Gerald‘ starts hustlin’
Aleith|DM: By the way, having removed His Celestial Eruption, you feel a strong bond with the plane.
[OOC] Zane: Yeah I bet we do.
Garrett leads the team to Thisraldions area. He knows de way.
Aleith|DM: There's only a few devils in the way as you slide down the mountainside and then cross the outer deck until shoot and slash your way through a couple of Legionnaire Companies and a couple sets of Elite Stars in one of the Beacon Tower barracks (area 4) before making your way down some stairs to the treasury.
Aleith|DM: You find a variety of golden statuary and art objects worth a lot of gold throughout the room.
Aleith|DM: As well as Thisraldion, also in chains, inside a cage near the middle.
Zane might accidentally trip, fall, and throw some gold into the absurdist web. Oops.
Aleith|DM: Some of the sculptures turns out to be Supplicants of Elofasps, and a 10 more Elite Stars step up to assist them, but they go down quickly, between all of you, Calily, and the 6 other monks with you.
Aleith|DM: okay so maybe more than 3 of the scupltures disappear into the web
Gerald: "Hey fey. Remember that time you tried to frame us for murder? Funny stuff, huh."
Gerald: "Wait no that was one of your hencemen nevermind."
Gerald‘ shoots the lock off.
Chandrasekhar laughs. "Sort of the opposite of that. It was the Dreaming, it’s fine, we don't expect it to make sense to outsiders." He bows, and… is the cage trapped or otherwise dumb? Probably not, the Legion is straightforward enough.
Aleith|DM: No, shooting the lock is good enough.
Thisraldion: "I can't blame a mortal for having trouble keeping fey politics straight. We have troubles with it ourselves! Now, please, get these chains off of me before they drive me to violence."
Aleith|DM: The monarch is visibly resisting the urge to lash out at you.
Zane: "That would end… poorly."
Gerald: "I could *probably* shoot the chains off but I reckon that's not something we want to test off at this particular moment…?"
Thisraldion: "I know."
Zane snaps them the same way he did Master Chyaks.
Chandrasekhar: "You should try it sometime, raja. But not here and now, no." He helps them with the chains.
Zane: "For you."
Thislradion: "Quite," he/she says, before stretching. "Shall we be off?"
Gerald‘ jumps back out the window, and starts flying back towards the airship.
Phyllis sighs and stands near Zane, ready to be put in the web again.
Aleith|DM: Seeing all of the smoke, the Coaltongue and the monastery are already flying forwads to meet you.
Aleith|DM: One of the beacon towers tries to fire a blast at the approaching ships, but then explodes from the excess of lava pouring into it.
Gerald: "Heheheh."
Aleith|DM: The other tower does not fire after that.
Aleith|DM: You do have to fight off some other devils trying to escape, and end up shooting down a few windskiffs heading your way, but after that the other skiffs that do manage to take off in time start heading in any other direction.
Aleith|DM: Once you’re safely away, the monastery mostly folds up before landing on the deck, and the rest of the monks pour out to celebrate the rescue of their grandmaster.
Ernst uses remove affliction to remove the curse of the Golden Legion from him.
Zane: "All in a days work."
Aleith|DM: Gerald and Phyllis are pretty sure that the volcano will cool off enough in about a day that you could go back to bond with the plane, if you wished.
