ABILITIES

[P] New Day, New Face: After you take a Full Rest, you may change form, re-choosing any of your class, your learned abilities and your attributes, as it pleases you.

[P] Shroud: Shifters specialize in finding the cracks in reality, and shifting between them to gain an advantage over their adversaries. As such, many of their ability will give them a "Hidden" effect or stance to be under. While the Shifter is Hidden, double the effects of any LP they spend to defend against incoming attacks. Additionally, anytime the Shifter performs a Defend action, they gain the Hidden effect.

Anytime the Shifter makes an attack while under Hidden, the effect is immediately lost. Any ability that Dashes before attacking gains a bonus when made while Hidden, and the bonuses are marked within the abilities tin question. Additionally, anytime an ability with a Dash component is used while Hidden, the Shifter may ignore row restrictions on attacks.

[P] Reflexive Shroud: The Shifter begins battles Hidden.

[Q] Dimension Quake: If the Shifter becomes Hidden this round, True Strike a single target for 8 physical damage.

[S] Shimmer: 2MP. 100CoS. Retreat, then become Hidden. The next attack the Shifter makes rolls an additional damage die. M-Fire.
C Rush: Next attack rolls two additional damage, instead.
C Supreme: Next attack deals Supreme damage.

[T] Galaxy Toss: 3MP. Dash, then deal weapon damage and Push the target. Slow 1s the Shifter. M-Launch.
Unhidden: Long E-Shatter the target, and can Pull rather than Push if desired. M-Launch+5 instead.
C Earth: Inflicts Short K-Shatter as well. If Unhidden, inflicts Short K-Shatter II.
C Launch: Slow 2s the target. If Unhidden, deals +2 damage and Slow 4s.

[T] Warp Strike: 3MP. Dash, then deals weapon damage +2. Slow 1s the Shifter. M-Launch
Unhidden: Roll an additional damage die and double the weapon's base potency.
C Fire: Deals +3 damage. If Unhidden, deals +6 damage.
C Pin: Inflicts Short K-Falter. If Unhidden, inflicts Short K-Falter II instead.

[S] Limitless Possibilities: 4MP. 100CoS. Retreat, then become Hidden. The Shifter gains Short Liberation at the start of the next round. M-Water.
C Rush: Gain Short Focus at the start of the next round as well.
C Fire: Gain Short Stalwart at the start of the next round as well.

[OD][T] Parallel Slash: 80CoS. Dash, then deals supreme weapon damage. This attack has 30 Critical. The Shifter then Quicken 1s M-Supreme+4.
Unhidden: Roll an additional damage die and double the weapon's base potency.

[S] A Better Now: 2MP. 100CoS. May only be used while Hidden. The Shifter recovers +8MP, then grants an ally Short Focus. M-Recovery.
C Rush: Grants another ally Short K-Power II.
C Fire: Grants another ally a Barrier (6).

[OD] Overdrive: War-Body: You gain Long Liberation II, and any two Short Status IIs you wish. M-Recovery.

[D] Skulk: Dazed. 100CoS. Become Hidden. If already Hidden, True Strike a single target for 4 physical damage. M-Rush.

[D] Never A Better Time: Dazed. Use an Item from the Shifter's inventory.

war body is your signal to go ham. ideally you war body into an unhidden c-fire warp strike and just crank those out
c-rush shimmer for damage torque
lightning in a bottle + a better now = init fuckery to OD stall while hidden while still getting things done
sadly the secondary effect of A Better Now is not likely to be useful unless you have a slower teammate
you may be asking, "if if-ys, why limitless possibilities?"
because liberation is just that good/fun
i almost took Severance instead of Galaxy Toss at level 0 but fuck it, not a status shifter [july 8 edit: oh lmao status SHIFTER how did i skip over that]
