Appearance
Flip is good-looking, and he knows it. Hours and hours of dancing (sometimes with a sword, sometimes with a girl, this one time with Ysonna but we don't talk about that) have left his body in the sort of shape most people can only dream of. Although most of them probably wouldn't dream about the twisting scar that winds across his back and shoulders, a 'souvenir' from Ateene's whip. He doesn't really remember what color his hair is supposed to be, but that's fine since it always changes to match his costumes anyway. And Flip has lots of costumes. From dancing to demons, Abrexx to zebra-stripes, Flips wardrobe is an endless riot of colors and fabrics. Someday he'll figure out how Shae mounts those blasted swords, and then his collection will be… one item larger. But certainly not complete.

Personality
Flip is… relaxed. Theres no other word for it. Even in the middle of a fight, he's smiling and cracking jokes. He likes making people laugh, and thinks that time worrying is time wasted. Which doesn't mean he's opposed to plans and strategies. Just that he'd rather not spend a half an hour quibbling over what sort of catastrophe is impending, and spend that half an hour confronting said disaster and seeing about averting it. The devil may be in the details, but he's got two nimble feet and six feet of razor-edged steel to deal with devils as they come.

Background
Flip was born and raised in Wisp. Well, 'raised' might be too generous of a term. As a young man he found himself bored with school, bored with the games his peers were playing, bored with… just about everything. So he found something to distract him. And then when he got bored with that, he found something else. And so on and so forth. He's never had a steady job, preferring to work a few days here, a week there, at any place that needs an extra pair of hands and is more interesting then the place he worked before. As a result he's been all over Wisp, even lending his skills to Doctor Orom on occasion. (As a messenger and gofer. Nobody is crazy enough to let the man with the six-foot scalpel set so much as a foot into the actual treatment area.)

But Flips first and foremost love is performing. Whether its singing, dancing, plinking away at an instrument, or tearing up the demons of Festvallun with a combination of the above, performing is the one thing that Flip never loses interest in. And how he makes his way in daily (or nightly as the case may be) life. Not that he's in it for the money. Far from it. Flip would rather sing and dance for his supper than for some Lucre to rub together. Of course if there happens to be some Lucre that come his way, he certainly won't object to that either. He'll get along somehow, with whatever happens.

Traits
FAME
Effect: No matter where you go, it seems like everybody knows who you are – and what you’ve done. While the baying throngs awaiting you at each and every town may be good for the ego, the well-wishers aren’t the only ones taking an interest.
+1 Point (Tied): For 1 Point, the character encounters serious problems as a result of being just a little too recognisable in public during the course of the session.
-1 Point (Spontaneous): By spending 1 Point, the character can use her celebrity to leverage a minor favor; directions, a piece of information, a low-key item such as a Potion.
-3 Points (Spontaneous): By spending 3 Points, the character can use her celebrity to leverage a significant favor; transportation, an honor guard, mid-to-high level items, money.

BEAUTY
Effect: While the definition of 'attractive' continues to be hotly debated in pubs the world over, a character with this Advantage taps into some timeless, universal standard of beauty that never quite goes out of fashion.
-1 Point (Spontaneous): By spending 1 Point, the character can use her beauty to obtain a small favor or a gift of a low-level item from an admirer.
-2 Points (Spontaneous): By spending 2 Points, the character can automatically succeed at a Seduction Skill Test aimed at any willing or plausibly willing target.
-6 Points (Tied): By spending 6 Points, the character acquires a sympathetic admirer with a significant level of influence or wealth during the course of the session. Depending on the circumstances – and the character’s actions – such admirers may be able to grant significant favors to the character and her comrades.
-1 Point (Tied): By spending 1 Point, a previously-established admirer will resurface during the course of a session.
+1 Point (Tied): For 1 Point, the character’s Beauty attracts unwanted attention or leaves her in a dangerous situation during the course of the session.
+4 Points (Tied): For 4 Points, the character acquires a dangerous – and persistent – admirer who will stop at nothing to woo – or subjugate – her during the course of the session.
+1 Point (Tied): For 1 Point, a previously-established dangerous admirer will resurface during the course of the session.

BOTTOMLESS POCKETS
Effect: You never realise how valuable a strategically-bent piece of wire is until you’re staring at the inside of a locked prison door. In keeping with this philosophy, the character has an odd or end for every situation.
-1 Point (Spontaneous): By spending 1 Point, the character can ‘conjure up’ a mundane item, no questions asked – provided it’s small enough for them to be carrying around. Even if they have no logical reason to be hauling around a lifetime’s supply of armor polish, twenty meters of rope, an LED-equipped Chocobo lure and invisible ink, the rest of the party can rest assured it’ll be there when they need it the most.

CHARISMATIC
Effect: Whether it’s through good looks, riveting oratory, or blind animal magnetism – a Charismatic character has the uncanny ability to wrap people around her little finger in no time flat.
-1 Point (Spontaneous): By spending 1 Point, the character can reroll any Task Check involving one of the following Skills once: Acting, Command, Etiquette, Inquiry, Negotiation, Seduction, Streetwise, Teaching.
-2 Points (Spontaneous): By spending 2 Points, the character can automatically succeed at any one Task Check involving one of the following Skills: Acting, Command, Etiquette, Inquiry, Negotiation, Seduction.

GRAND ENTRANCE
Effect: Some characters have a knack of arriving at just the right moment.
-1 Point (Spontaneous): By spending 1 Point, the character can instantly join – or rejoin – a group at any point during a session; in the middle of a desert, on a battlefield, atop a deserted mountain peak. How and why the character happens to be show up there is left up to the group’s imagination.

Pure Heart
Those with pure hearts can go to a whole new world - they are uniquely charged with sculpting the world in their image.
Purity doesn't necessarily mean benevolence, of course.
-1 (Spontaneous): Give a brief speech on the importance of an object as it applies to the greater human experience. It becomes an Artifact. The item must be rarer or in some way more special than the last object declared as an Artifact.
-1 (Tied): With a given theme in mind, an appropriate artifact will not fail to enter the scene - obtaining it is another matter!
-3 (Spontaneous): Declare an object as an Artifact even if it's not rarer or more special.
-3 (Spontaneous): The Artifact created contains a town.
-10 (Spontaneous): Upon coming across some great relic of wondrous power and mana, declare it to be an Artifact representing the Mana Tree.
+1-3 (Spontaneous): See a story of Fa'Diel to its completion. Or at least a chapter of a greater tale.
