help! I have a report due on the mechanics of migrating but um. I've sort of never died before, and was asleep in class when we were covering the topic! Can someone help me out, pretty please? :D?

1. You die!
2. Your soul wanders the world, looking for… okay, I pick animals? I know people use prepared sculptures. But basically, something that you'd be willing to conscript into your new body.
3. You join with it, and sort of have a little discussion about why it's BETTER OFF WITH YOU. Here's a few for you:
-Inanimate objects and material: EATING FOOD, mostly???
- Animals, Plants: Access to civilization makes it much easier for them to survive and propagate genes!
- Dead bodies: Appeal to simmering rage and desire for revenge on humanity!
4. you hammer it out into a shape that's a compromise between the thing you just joined with and your own self image
5. you head back home, put up a few bulletins, get some folks to vouch for your identity, etc, you should have a death password around
6. new id cards and shit
anyway, don't kill and don't be killed, that's what I always say
