The concept of "favored hand" is, like the concept of "gender identity", consigned to the history books among his people. The control circuitry for one hand is a mirror image of the circuitry for the other, and he can consciously copy any learned behaviors for one arm onto the learned behaviors for the other. Further, a service mecha often employs both hands while working on things anyway.

Animal Companion(1: Flying, Mount)

Between efficient foot-and-torso-mounted microturbines and his internal fusion reactor, he can fly indefinitely - though three-dimensional movement is a mite more complicated than two-dimensional, and then there's the lack of a solid surface to let you automatically (and usually safely) slow to a halt if you lose control. This and weapons are among his main power outputs, although he has capacitors to store a decent amount of ammunition should he need to engage in combat during flight - but he's no gunship.

Animal Companion(1: Keen Senses, Search)

Radar, infrared, ultraviolet, t-wave, acoustic, magnetic, mana - you name it, his sensor suite probably includes a passive pickup for it. He's also got a separate processor core dedicated to sorting out all this data and bringing the important things to his attention; while he can also tap directly into any specific feed as desired, the processor core is there because his main mind can't pay attention to them all at once.

The most outstanding quality of his race's design is its ability to withstand and, eventually, repair itself from almost any kind of damage. They call it "immortal but not invincible": while they can be killed, old age has claimed its last among their kind. Something that would knock out one of their former selves for hours, just requires a brief maintenance shutdown for them - though if combat was the cause, the combat is usually over before the maintenance completes.

Multitalented: Wilderness(1)

Swimming? Physics: thrust the water in the direction opposite the way you want to go. Navigation? Inertial compass. Survival? Database and analysis of logical consequences. Such skills come as readily to him as figuring out how to fix a car (or to heal a biological entity). (So why not Multitalented: Scholastic? While languages and lores are mostly database lookups, he's starting from nearly zero in Etherside, and has to learn the data to fill said database just like anyone else.)

The internal systems of his kind are simplified from the original biological designs, with many usually-redundant defenses and safeguards stripped out in the name of efficiency. On his world, poisons are usually only encountered in controlled settings, where one can take appropriate extra precautionary measures - so, the thought went, why carry around defenses against them the rest of the time, when there's so much else one could do with the resources they take up?

Devil's Brand(-4)

His world has all sorts of treatments and medicine-equivalents adapted to his design. He is not, however, on his world any longer, and even the races of Loreilal can make better uses of Etherside's medicines than he can. While he can absorb curative magic and the like to fuel his internal repair nanites, there is some loss of effectiveness during this conversion.

Being possessed of senses and thought processors not available to most non-Aeons - and not even used by most Aeons, even the mechanical ones - gives RSL-4N a different kind of awareness than most of those he now finds himself around.

While he might sign up to help the Aeons, ultimately his loyalty is to his own people. His self-derived objective is to learn what he can and return, or at least communicate back to them. He may take an extremely long time to do so, but he is compelled never to lose sight of his goal. (Would be Allegiance, but his people are not actually in Etherside - in any great numbers, if at all.)

Stigma

The whole concept of machine-based life throws some people off. Even Aeons. There's a reason RSL-4N's people see far more of the mechanical Aeons than any other.

From setting up trade routes with Rena, and his various inquiries, RSL-4N has started to pick up contacts here, there, almost everywhere across Etherside.

Background:

Not all the races known to the Aeons are organic. On one world, the races who evolved were inspired by Ark, and the other mechanical Aeons, to remake themselves in its image. Although the end results are far from an exact copy, the only sentience on that world is now machine - yet they know Summoning and other magic to the same extent as any world touched by the Aeons.

RSL-4N was a fairly ordinary specimen of his model, for the most part. He had the latest upgrades, he performed his duties more than well enough to justify his spare parts and energy, and his AI seed grew at about the baseline rate. But even among the blizzard of the nearly one trillion sentients that inhabit his solar system, RSL-4N was a unique snowflake. He showed an interest in studying the Aeons, and was among the 0.1% of the population who learned the recorded language of the Aeons in order to be able to speak with them. Given as his peoples' economy was driven in part by summoning Aeons, teasing bits and pieces of ever-greater revelations from them, scientifically studying said revelations to confirm a correct understanding of them (which process itself was one of the earliest revelations), and then applying the results to better control and manipulate the resources that the universe threw their way, Summoners were held in high regard. Accordingly, Summoning training was reserved for those of proven talent and competence. RSL-4N himself was studying to someday apply when he abruptly vanished…

Appearance:

RSL-4N is a generic service mecha - humanoid, and of roughly human dimensions (if a bit larger and heavier). Their language has lost any sense of male and female, though translations usually use "he" for mecha who are not primarily concerned with the factories that design and build more of their race, like RSL-4N. His hands and arms contain a number of reconfigurable tools, though his hands can also retract and move aside to uncover blasters (Crossbow stats).
