Grhadevi left home in the Ethereal Kingdom early to go adventuring, finding digging into ruins or doing the strange odd-jobs people post more entertaining than school. Which is unfortunate for her, her magic would probably be much stronger if she'd stayed in school.
Business was good, and often involved blowing up bandits and other assorted lowlifes. Which is how she met Diarmid: She was cornered by a group of bandits whose lair she'd just robbed, and was preparing to blow them up, when he arrived on the scene and beat them senseless. With swords. So it was kind of a bloody beating. More like a butchering, really. She played the helpless maiden, screamed and swooned appropriately, and later cut him in for a share of the take from the bandit lair. They've been thick as thieves as ever since!
