A sleek-looking aircraft, of high technology level, arrives at that little base where Kashi is. It quickly and rather abruptly lands, and from it the party comes down. As soon as the party is out it changes shape, transforming into the famous form of an Ark's Knight Mode
As the party gets down they see the little makeshift base they had is missing a wall, with a blue-skinned Viera setting up a few boards where the wall should be
A young Jormungandr is also working on keeping the ground stable and an old Fenrir is equally busy helping with the wall
Action: //Kashi is wondering what's going on after those strange crystal people appeared, and now she's been ordered to wait here. //
Action: //Kaori bows her thanks to Exxan, then makes her way quickly to the base, remembering to make a quick bow in greeting. //"What happened?"
Action: //Saffron does a few circles in the air, now that she can again, before plopping herself down on Kaori's head. //"Redecorating!"
Action: //Kaori looks up at Saffron. //"I suppose that could be the case…" she still looks worried, though.

Fenrir: "Clearly wasn't. We have no idea what is going on"
Action: //Galen frowns deeply at the Eden thing. //"So, Edenians attacked here…"
Kashi: "Their magic was strange. They were able to control us as though we were puppets on a string, but it must have backfired for them."
Action: //Saffron glances down and frowns. //
Action: //Kaori frowns again, but keeps her thoughts on that to herself as she holds a board in place to be nailed down. //

The Jormungandr uses her tail to nail it. She's not suited for that task and uses too much strength
Action: //Nathan_G plods into the base, a young man in worn robes, holding a letter. He looks around for an aged Fenrir, and he hopes that's not going to be a needle in a haystack proposition. //
Action: //Kaori eyes the Jormungand, then offers to trade jobs. //
Action: //Saffron looks like she's about to say something, then pauses and stares at Galen. //

Fenrir: "Some Rift Guards experimenting on something in another world became stranded… Most specifically, they were working on some world-hopping device"

Fenrir: "Seems like one of them found it's way back to Etherside and… Seems like the one operating the device has gone mad due to some effect or another, and they're being hounded by some sort of religious freaks"
Galen: "Erm. What sort of world?"
Action: //Saffron sighs. //"We just got back too."
Nathan G: "…ah." He blinks. Well, it beats being a gopher.
Action: //Kashi cocks her head. She wasn't quite expecting all of this. //
Fenrir: "I don't know. There is a code to be given to Exxan. Says 'Astral' is the code"
Exxan: "Ah, I know the world. A high technology and magic world, I think I know who you're talking about as well. They're at the moment in a planet that is closer to a gigantic jungle habitated by a feline humanoid race"
Exxan: "Expect to find ourselves in a mix of prehistoric jungle and starfarer high science"
Action: //Nathan_G , for anyone looking at him, is a young hume with grey hair, of medium height and lean build- he's not rotund, but not muscular. //
Nathan G: "…wait… we're going to a new world?"

Exxan: "I have the other prototype of the world-jumping machine they were testing. Mine is rather unique, only works for me. They were working on a more generic-usage version. I wonder what occured"

Fenrir: "I have no idea how you did that, yes. Either way, that's all that is here"
Saffron: "Oh."
Nathan G: "…huh." Nathan turns to the group. "…so, uh, I… guess we'll be working together." He extends a hand, covered in a fingerless glove, in friendship to the nearest of the crew.
Action: //Kaori eyes Nathan's hand, then turns toward him to bow, hammer still in-hand. //"It is an honor to meet you. I am Mai Kaori."
Action: //Galen will notice Nathan's hand soon enough, then shake it after Kaori. //"Galen Anatolius." Then he'll go over to Kashi and offer out his hand for a handshake.
Action: //Saffron scooches back a bit, hiding on and behind Galen's head. //"…Saffron."

Action: //Kashi looks down at the proffered hand and back up at Galen, confused. She isn't accustomed to handshakes, and she'll be a bit awkward at shaking Galen's hand. He'll notice her fingers are very, very chilly. //"I am called Kashi Maya."
Action: //Nathan_G smiles at Saffron to indicate he's not hostile. //
Kashi listens to a strange echo as she shakes Galen's hand. It's like suddenly every sound in the room is reverberating
Action: //Kashi drops Galen's hand quickly and takes a step back. //
Action: //Galen blinks a bit at the chilliness, then apparently notices the blue skin for the first time, and then it starts to click for him. //
Action: //Kashi nods to Kaori while remaining a bit wary of Galen. //

Action: //Galen will step back, feeling kind of awkward now. //

Kashi: "Ah, my pack and my bow are just over there. I'll only be but a moment." She wanders over behind a workbench where she stored her quiver, bow, and travel pack since it wasn't good to be wearing them while building.
Exxan: "If you want to hang around a bit, I can wait"
Action: //Nathan_G watches, in turn, each of the members of the party when they aren't looking back at him. Studying them for five second intervals before looking off into the distance. //
Kaori: "I would like to help finish the rebuilding."
Exxan steps a few away from the building and jumps "Mode Change! Highwind-class Cruiser!" he summons various modules as he shifts into a starcraft shape. It's a bit pointy, and jet-black with streaks of red
Action: //Kashi adjusts her shoulder straps and returns to the group. //
Exxan: "Work on that, i'll power down for a bit, then"
[OOC] JayM: Well, let's skip the boring parts, then
Nathan G: "That may be a go-" he starts as Exxan suddenly changes shape."…good idea."
Action: //Galen blinks at Exxan doing that. Again. //
Action: //Kashi appears more than a little bewildered by all of this. //
Eventually, the party will take off. The little base has a new makeshift wall and will have it repaired fully once a Golem comes by (the Fenrir said one would come in a day). Then the party gets to board Exxan. Inside he has many comfortable chairs, he has a friggen minibar here! It's like a luxury ride. He takes off smoothly and aims directly upwards, you don't feel the pull of gravity downwards
He takes off after charging up the engines, going directly upwards at an incredible speed. Then everything around him goes black, and the party sees nothing outside. After a few moments, they start to see… Stars
As the stars appear you'll notice that Saffron has… Changed, she looks like a young human teen now

Action: //Kashi is very much out of her element. She'll remain quiet throughout the trip and very, very nervous. //
Nathan G: "Um. Okay, I'll just… ask this flat out… what just happened?"
Action: //Saffron scrunches up her face, kicking her legs in her chair. //"Silly mortal body, not having wings."
Action: //Galen looks away. Especially away from Kaori. //
Exxan hovers over a planet, that seems to be made almost entirely of greenness for a few moments, before he divers directly downwards "We travelled to another world, of course. Another universe"
Action: //Kashi looks down at her hands. Yep. She's still blue at least. //
Action: //Kaori looks down at herself, noting that she hasn't changed this time. She glances over at Galen for a moment, then hesitates before moving to be a little further away from him. //"Saffron changed because this world cannot support her Aeon form, I believe."
Action: //Saffron stares out the window, //"I like this mortal world a lot better than the last already."
Suddenly on the outside Exxan catches fire as he goes directly down! You can see the ground and trees approaching at a disturbingly fast rate! And suddenly Exxan stops, a few centimeters above the treeline "It's true. Here the problem is basically- Wait, i'm not bothering you with the medicine bits"
Saffron: "— URK!"
Nathan G: "…O_O HOLY!…"
Saffron: "Exxan you are bad at landing!"
Action: //Kashi has a deathgrip on the arms of the chair she was seated in. Her eyes are squeezed shut now. //
Exxan then slowly comes down, at first it seems like he'll crash into the trees, but it looks like those trees right here are a hologram, but not the trees around. There is a patch of dirt here in which he lands
Action: //Galen gets shocked out of his funk with that. //"…I-" breathes a couple times. "…geez."
Exxan: "Sorry, my gravity drives went berserk. Julius's gate drive must have affected me"
Action: //Kashi pops open one eye, sees that everyone is alive, and then she opens the other. It takes her a few seconds to detach her hands from the chair, however. //
Exxan: "Good grievance, I can't change back. Great…" a small PDA device drops into Galen's laps "That should pinpoint the location of their testing base. I just recieved an SoS beacon message"
Nathan G: "…so, does… this happen… often?"
Saffron: "… Oh hey my hair doesn't look funny this time!" Saffron hops out of her chair, then goes to open the door. "Well, neither can I. It's not THAT weird."
Exxan: "Seems like some religious freaks crashed into the place, and started to reawaken the Lakshmi blood in the mithra that were working there. Also made Julius's gate drive go berserk… It affected his mind as well"
Action: //Galen looks at the PDF. //"An SOS… that's not good."
Action: //Kashi runs her fingers through her hair and shakily stands up to gather her things again. //
Galen: "…what?"
Galen: "What's this about Lakshmi blood?"
Action: //Kaori follows Saffron calmly to the door. //"An SOS?"

Kaori: "Then we should investigate."

Saffron: "Cool!"
Action: //Kashi is feeling more and more overwhelmed. Lakshmi? Cults? Phones?! //
Action: //Saffron pops the door open, then hops out of Exxan. //
Action: //Galen blinks. He diesn't really understand what Exxan means, but he doesn't have time to ask for clarification. //
Exxan: "You looks clearly unsure of what's up. Please save Julius and his gals then I can explain"
Action: //Kashi manages to make it out of Exxan without falling over. She's still careful to keep a bit of distance from Galen, at least until she can figure out what happened with that handshake. //
JayM: //So, i'll require a Navigation check to try to find the beacon. You have to use the PDA otherwise it's impossible //
Action: //Galen is keeping a bit of distance from everyone, right now. Since he has the PDA, he'll probably be in the lead. //

Saffron directs the party in the right direction, with some help from Amazonia itself! She leads the party to a large tree that seems to have grown and absorbed a type of metallic building
Action: //Kaori trails behind the rest of the party as they walk along, seemingly fine with letting Galen keep his distance. She keeps a hand on Isamu's fur and stays quiet. //

Action: //Nathan_G trails along, still rather disoriented. //
In front of the tree is a feline humanoid, that looks far closer to a human with cat ears and tail than a feline. She has a rich set of robes she is wearing, full of jewlery. She is passed out but the clothes are unnaturaly clean

Galen: "I… think it did."
JayM: //You may identify those clothes as from the Lakshmi bloodline //
Action: //Kashi looks curiously at the tree-building. //"Such a thing is not so unusual."
JayM: //There is a large wood-covered sliding metal door, and a keypad with a card slot //

Action: //Saffron looks around a few times, then kneels down next to the cat eared person. //"There's a LOT of esper's around lately."
JayM: //She is… Alright, but passed out from overexhaustion… //

JayM: //Actually, those lifesigns and her situation it's the very same ones you first went through Galen //

Galen: "She… she became an esper. Just became one, from what I can see. I was in the same state when…" Galen sighs, and doesn't finish.

Action: //Kashi looks confused by this. //"I thought espers were born…"

Saffron: "huh? They're made! Which, I guess, is like being born? Uh. Oh! She's awake! Are you awake cat lakshmi?"

The mithra opens her eyes, and looks at Saffron "Nngh…" she raises a hand weakly at first then summons some strength and slaps Saffron "Not cat…"
Mithra: "Also… What happened…"
Action: //Saffron … blinks a couple times. //
Galen: "You're going to be weak for a while. Your body went through a lot…"
Saffron: "You have cat ears! And a cat tail! And Lakshmi clothes!"
Mithra: "Then you're a monkey…"
Galen: "…Saffron, plase… this is not a good time to be blunt."

Leene: "Yes, they… Men in hooded garmens, I couldn't see their faces. They said they were going to 'awaken the lost power', and throw a ball of energy at me"
Galen: "…dammit, it is them. Can you let us in there, too? We need to stop them."
Leene draws a card from her pocket "ID card, I have full access, PEF system, so just carry it with you"
Leene: "You say my body went through something?"
Action: //Kashi rubs the back of her neck. All this technology makes her a little uncomfortable. //
Galen: "It's… it's kind of hard to explain, I'm afraid. It's going to be tough, too." Galen sighs. "But the best way I can put it… you're different from how you were before."
Leene: "I see… Anyway, i'm weak, go inside, find out what's going on…"
Action: //Nathan_G nods. //"I guess we're going in then…?"
Leene: "She's blue, you've feathers and she's wearing a kimono in the middle of the forest, I can only guess you're Heroes sent here to find out what happened… If you don't understand what i'm saying don't mind because I cant' tell. Just GET IN ALRRRADY"
Action: //Galen is going to use that card to get in, then. //
As soon as Galen approaches the door, it opens!
Action: //Saffron mumbles something abuot other people being able to point out the obvious to herself, nods, then heads in after Galen quickly. //"Okay!"
Action: //Kashi is still so very confused. //
Action: //Galen is going to wait until everyone else gets in before following. //
Heading inside, it's a strange sight. The walls are made of metal, however, the wood covers it in patterns, almost sculpted. The first thing you come across is an elevator, the buttons are set in a wooden panel. There is really only one button
Galen: "That's… this is a really strange place."
Saffron: "Yup.
Once you press it it heads down, leading to a long corridor. It is lit by laps set in the ceiling, there seems to be flowers growing around the lamps, as if the lamps were part of the flowers. Strange cable-like vines cover the walls, heading into and out of holes
Saffron: "It's a very pretty labrynth though!"
Nathan G: "…a mix of artificial and organic technology?"
The long corridor stretches for a while and there are five doorways, two in each side of the hallway and one in the end. The one in the end has a biohazard sign, the other four ones have different symbols in them you can't identify
Galen: "…that far door has some bad biological stuff in it, looks like."
Action: //Kashi looks around cautiously and tries her best to keep up with the others. //
Saffron: "Biological stuff?"
Saffron: "Like food?"
You hear screams suddenly from one of the doors, they are loud ear-piercing shrieks, like a cat being beaten and strangled at the same time on a megaphone
Galen: "Li-" He pauses to cover his ears.
Action: //Saffron winces and covers her ears. //
JayM: //Saffron can feel this place… Has a very unique feeling. It's like nature and technology were perfeclty melded here //
Action: //Kaori has a look of polite confusion on her face. Until that sound, anyway, and then she runs for that door, trying to open it. //
Action: //Nathan_G winces. //
Action: //Kashi can't really cover her ears, but she makes a valiant effort. That really hurts. //
Saffron: "…That Cait Sith is not very good at singing, guah."
The door os locked. If Galen approaches the door gives a buzzing sound

Action: //Saffron shakes her head a few times, before moving after Kaori //
Kaori: "Galen. That card thing. Hurry."

JayM: //The door gives ad istinct 'access denied' sound //
Galen: "I… I don't think this card works for the door. Damn!"
JayM: //And then it makes an 'i'm stuck closed' sound, like metal screech //
Nathan G: "Should we try forcing it open?"
Galen: "I think we'll need to."

It's a man wearing a hooded garment! Inside is a mithra that has gone aboslutely ballistic, roaring like a wild animal, also wearing the Lakshmi clothes. A strange sweet smell comes from the room that apparently was a kitchen. Another two hooded men are inside

Action: //Kashi doesn't know what's going on, but it seems like a great time to go for her bow. //
Action: //Kaori 'oofs' as she's thrown back, but gets quickly to her feet and steps up beside Galen to stop the hooded man. //

Then all three hooded men jump ahead towards her "That won't last forever!" one of them shouts. One of them is startled by Galen, when the other two lift their robes, showing they have metal plates in their chests, a light blue "Breast Fire!" they shout, firing massive white beams from their chests at the mithra

As it happens you notice that he is wearing a heavy metal gauntlet, and as he hits his hood falls, revealing a helmeted face, that looks exactly like the Alexander helmet

Action: //Kashi trains her arrow on Cultist A, though she doesn't fire right away. She appears to be looking for the best opening. [Charge +25%, goes on 9] //
Cultist C: "I told you that we should have simply done the deed and vanished. Those ones understand, but you DO know we invaded"

Galen will have to do what he's never had to do before, perform surgery quite literally. That thing she drank actually managed to trigger a load of reactions in her body, hypermassive adrenalyn burst, increased muscular tension, self-immune effects. Also magical effects, increasing her strength and speed. Her brain was quickly ravaged by the drug quickly turning her down into a bestial state
Galen will have to use his magic and everyone else's abilities to purge her system forcibly of the thing, and her body is extremely overwhelmed by it, it was so much it had in, enough to take over 2% of her blood mass. He will have to use his magic to reconstruct lost nerves and parts of the brain, but he still can't recover everything

And as Galen draws upon the strongest of his Phoenix power, a powerful fire aura envelops him. Kaori can feel a bit of a drain, this comes from Galen. But this drain is soon followed by a great burst of energy within herself, which is directed to Galen again. Two large fiery wings erupt from his back without him noticing and cradles the mithra, and once the wings and aura vanish, the mithra is… Well

When that happen, Kashi can hear a sound in the distance. It's words, that sound vaguely magical, but it's a distant sound that soon vanishes
Saffron can see a strange cycle of energy between Kaori and Galen when this happens
Action: //Saffron had been quietly sitting in the distance playing wiht the empty vial as the others worked, but she blinks a few times at the wings. //"… Wow."
Action: //Galen probably collapses for a bit after that. He feels really, really tired after that… more than normal. That's strange. //

Action: //Galen does notice Kaori backing away a bit, and gets back to focusing on his patient, frowning to himself. //

As Kashi touches Galen, words echo loudly in the place, of some sort of arcane words. They are unintelligible
Action: //Galen will take it, but he doesn't exactly look at Kaori directly. Yay guilt. >_> //

Inside it's a horrendous sight… It is considerably disgusting, it's an Alexander, in Aeon form, all open up, a strange silver-colored biological strange connecting the separated pieces of armor and other inner pieces, a type of spherical-looking thing is set at a center pedestal, around which the pieces are arranged
As soon as the party enters the shoulder cannons start firing wildly in their direction

Julius: "However, it's more like they simply loose 'fuel' as generations pass"

A couple of mithra stumble in, still a bit weak and dazed but they help Julius reassemble into a somewhat decent form
Julius: "Their Aeon side never vanishes, just grows weak. If there is an injection of energy, their Aeon half ressufarces at full power"

Julius: "All of those mithra are descendants of a Lakshmi, so when my T-Drive was overloaded…" he opens and closes a gauntleted hand. He's still pretty immobile in this setup but decent now "Their Lakshmi side was fully returned to strength"

Julius: "Yes. They just lost their Esper characteristics over the generations"
Julius: "The energy simply made them reappear"

Saffron: "Mortals are weird. Anyways I think we're supposed to bring you back home now?" She looks to Kaori for confirmation.
Julius: "Bingo"
Julius: "No, I can't actually move- Wait, how'd you get here?"
Saffron: "Exxan!"
Action: //Kaori nods. //
Julius: "Oh! So he's got the Alpha T-Drive. A second" there's a dialup internet connection sound "Hrm… Alright, I spoke with Exxan. You just had to fix what was wrong, and you did it. I'll have to finish this here, i'm in the final parts of my reassembling, really. It'll take me a couple of days to fix up, however"
Julius: "He also says he owes you some explanations, so when you go back he'll answer what he can"
Saffron: "Oh, okay."
Action: //Kashi is rooting around in her bag again, finds a kind of leaf and places it in her mouth for pain relief. //
Galen: "Okay…"
Action: //Nathan_G looks to Kashi. Okay, so someone else is confused. Company. //"…I didn't catch your name, in all the commotion."
Action: //Kaori nods again, bows to Julius, then turns and heads back outside. //
Kashi: "Kashi. Kashi Maya."
Saffron: "Bye then!" Saffron spins then dashes after Kaori.
Action: //Kashi rubs her temple as she follows the others back out. //
The path back is uneventful, and eventually you make your way back to Exxan "Come on, head inside. I'll take my time to answer whatever you ask"
Galen: "So… what happens to them now?"
Action: //Kashi sits down in a chair. //
Exxan: "Well, they'll finish assembling Julius and proceed to testing the T-Drive"
Exxan: "I believe that after that's done they'll work on the mass-production version and… Well, after that they go back to Sarta"
Exxan: "Where they'll continue on their lives normally"
Exxan: "You all looked pretty confused when you came on first, come on, ask away"
Nathan G: //ACTION gets on board and shakes his head. //"Okay, so… um… plugging that… flash drive thingy turns a half-organic, half… something else thing into a calm rational talker from a wilder attacker, and he lived in a half-metal, half-wood fortress, and his going crazy reverted the… mithra to esper forms… you know, I know I'm not yet drinking age, but could someone get me some booze? I think I'll need it if this gets to be no

Kaori: "Julius said something about a summoner?"
Exxan: "Err… I see you never saw an Alexander split in parts"
Saffron: "Booze? (Also he's an Alexander!)"
Exxan: "That is normal for an Alexander. Also I take it you didn't have computers in your world, so… Imagine that he was poisoned with a thing that made him go mad. That flash drive was an antidote"
Exxan: "Well, Kaori… This is a secret. But i'll let you in on the grounds that none of you reveal this to people outside the Cerulean Society"
Exxan: "It's a pratice that is a threat to our way of life and could lead to disaster, but it's a trump card in times of chaos"
Action: //Kashi is mulling over her own private thoughts and concerns. //
Saffron: "Ceru… the weirdos?"
Nathan G: "Oooookay…"

Action: //Kashi scowls. //
Galen: "Uh. What is the Cerulian Society?"
Kashi: "Those who will not heed the strict laws of the aeons."
Kashi: "My father is a member."
Exxan: "Ah, I see"
Exxan: "The summoner he meantioned is a Reverse Summoner"
Galen: "Oh, oka- …a what?"
Exxan: "Same way you can be summoned by the one your are bound to, Kaori, so can you summon your summoner to you"
Exxan: "However, you are still a slave to his commands"
Saffron: "… Huh."
Action: //Saffron blinks. //"Wait. You can do that?"
Exxan: "A summoner in etherside is truly powerful, since it can also force a summoning bond upon anyone"
Exxan: "You can. But such a thing is forbidden, to be used only in case of emergencies"
Action: //Kaori looks over at Galen. //
Saffron: "Weird!"
Exxan: "It's dangerous, however. Because a single summoner in Etherside could be lord to all, slowly taking Aeons as slaves one by one"
Exxan: "It nearly happened once, that was horrible"
Action: //Galen doesn't return the gaze, just looking down and away sadly. //
Saffron: "Huh? When?"
Exxan: "Three years ago"
Kashi: "And yet, you would use this power still?"
Exxan: "It led to the usage of the Galaxy Zodiark against their leader, which led to the Rift"
Action: //Saffron blinks a couple times. //"… Oh WOW all those rumors were TRUE?!"
Exxan: "Nope. They aren't half of the truth. We're working on revealing everything slowly notto cause chaos"
Action: //Kaori eventually looks away too, looking down at Isamu instead and running her hand across the fur on his back. //
Exxan: "And this power is only used by the ones most trusted…"
Action: //Saffron blinks a few times, then stairs at the ceiling with wide eyes. //
Exxan: "Kaori? Galen? … Hah, I get it, you're her summoner, aren't you?"
Exxan: "Hehe, do I see a little forbidden love case here?"
He says teasingly
Action: //Galen just looks down, miserable. //
Saffron: "They shared energy earlier!"
Action: //Kashi looks between Galen and Kaori, one eyebrow delicately arched. //
Action: //Nathan_G looks up. //"…what?"
Action: //Kashi . o O (Is that why I hear those words when I touch him?) //
Exxan: "Err… I take it it's a sensitive case…"
Kaori: "It… was an accident. The bond was formed when Galen saved me from dissolving into mana."
Exxan: "Hrm? Dissolving into mana?"
Galen: "She… Kaori was an aeon, once. Now she's an esper, and it's my fault."
Exxan: "What happened? Tell me more"
Exxan: "I may know what is up"
Kaori: "I was bound by a summoner like the one you were just speaking of. He died, and when the bond dissolved… so did I." She shrugs. "I am not sure how exactly Galen stopped it."
Exxan: "… Might be… That you were unable to rejoin the First Pact"
Exxan: "And the only way to remain existing was through forming a pact with Galen"
Exxan: "But turning into an Esper… You'd need to talk to the Etherside Sage"
Galen: "I… I was trying to save her life. I thought something might work with the Break Arts, so I tried it - to use my life force as an anchor. And then- " Galen sighs.
Action: //Saffron nods. //"Yup."
Galen: "I had no right."
Kaori: "You saved my life."
Exxan: "Break Arts? … Break Arts it's one of the… Damn, I can't talk about this, only the Sage has the authority to speak of this"
Kashi: "The Sage? She is in the Rift."
Exxan: "But… I can give a wild guess. You made her far greater than she was before. I can say that you two are in the same level as the Aeon Lords right now"
Galen: "I - still, there could have been another way, rather than change you like I did. …like they did to me."
Action: //Saffron presses her lip together. //
Kaori: "It's… it's not the same."
Exxan: "Anyway, i'm taking you back. The Sage already knows what's going on, i'm sure. You should meet her soon, she'll find you. She's everywhere"
Saffron: "Umm you maybe could have let Shimberly do it? But her core wasn't staying whole without help. And it's totally not the same!
Exxan starts to take off slowly and smoothly
Exxan: "You were just awakened, Galen"
Exxan: "You're no different from what you were before"
Action: //Kashi frowns and leans back in her seat, keeping silent. //
Galen: "…what?"
Exxan: "The only ones who can create Espers are Lady Tiamat, Lord Bahamit and Lord Valefor"
Saffron: "… Nu-ah!"
Exxan: "Only Lady Tiamat knows the whole process, and Lord Bahamut and Lord Valefor need to draw her power to do so. Any other Aeon Lord is not close enough to her to do so"
Exxan: "The only way you could be as you are now is that you were awakened"
Action: //Galen looks kind of pale now. //
Action: //Saffron folds her arms over her chest. //
Exxan: "It's probably no surprise you didn't know, there are many isolated cases and after three generations all traits vanish"
Galen: "I… so they… oh god…" He buries his face in his hands.
[OOC] JayM: Hey, people, do you want to do the meeting with the Sage this session or next?

Saffron: "I think you're mistak — Errrr … What's wrong, Mr. Galen?"
[OOC] Kaori: I'm good to go for a while!
[OOC] Saffron: wait yes
[OOC] JayM: Actually, we're missing an important person and I need to rearrange my notes
Galen: "So… what I did wasn't what they did… but I forced something on someone who didn't have a hint of the other. That may well be worse…"
Action: //Kashi is completely lost. //
Galen: "…I'm so sorry."
Action: //Kaori frowns and stands up. //"Stop making yourself feel worse. Stop it. And don't simply pretend to stop, because I can feel it. I don't want to be the cause of any of your guilt."
Exxan: "… No, that's impossible…"
Galen: "I… I can try, but… I'm not going to rest until I find a way to undo what I did."
You didn't even notice, but Exxan has arrived into Etherside. The main sign of that is Saffron returning to her normal self
Saffron: "Y… you can't. She was going to die! For real! You safed her by giving her part of yourself! It's really… special, it's not bad! It's brave!"
Action: //Kaori sighs and rubs her hands over her face. //"You don't have to undo it. I don't mind being an esper. This, and being bound to you, only means that I will probably bnever be called upon to fulfill the duties of a traditional Yojimbo, and honestly, I'm glad for that."
A voice interrupts "It's true. You saved her life, there was no other way. A child thorn from her mother's breast cannot return"
Action: //Galen blinks at the new voice. //
A blonde human woman in drab brown robes is sitting in the back seats, she is carrying a book. As she adjusts her glasses those who saw her before can recognize her. She tosses a cerulean-blue bladge to Kaori "Welcome ot the Cerulean Society, you deserve it"
Action: //Saffron blinks a few times and opens her mouth, then closes it. //
Action: //Kaori catches it, but doesn't move to do anything with it. //"And who are you?"
Sage: "Take it you people are in absolute chaos right now. I'm the Etherside Sade"
Saffron: "That lady we met before!"
Saffron: "(You sound a lot like Ms. Etherside.)"
Action: //Kashi is startled to see Sage appear, but not totally surprised by her appearance. She has seen her before, after all. //
Sage: "But you can call me Tiamat. Or a part of her, anyway. My body's recovering from the Galaxy Zodiark still, so i've split a part of my consciousness in this avatar construct to watch ovr things"
Sage: "I WOULD prefer if you didn't call me Tiamat, it makes me uncomfortable. It's weird, I know"
Kaori: "…if we have met, then I apologize for the fault in my memory." She looks confused and frustrated more than she does apologetic, though.
Galen: "…"
Action: //Saffron blinks, then spins around and stares at her, slack jawed. //
Sage: "Now, Galen. Let's begin with something. You didn't do anything. I did"
Galen: "You… I… I'm lost."
Sage: "You carry one of my feathers with you, the black one"
Action: //Galen blinks, and takes out the black feather. //
She stretches //"But you're all in a horrible mental state at the moment"
Sage: "You're all full of adrenalyn. I suggest you sit down for a few minutes and calm your nerves. Have some drinks, Exxan has a few avaiable"
Sage: "After that, i'll explain"
