Last our Rift Guards were seen, they had just restored another pocket of far-off Rift influence. At the moment they have four more possible pockets to chase after, two in wilderness areas and two more in 'cities' so to say, according to the map you haev //

As the party heads onwards, however, as you're now on a boreal forest terrain, Saffron finds odd markings in the ground… Seems like steps, boots, humanoid feet, two-legged for sure… Somebody went by, there's also a few blood marks trailing along, seems like whoever it was was hurt
Saffron: "Hmm… I wonder if whoever did the thingie messed up…"

EHShimberley adjusts her grip on her staff as she walks along the mossy floor of the forest. "Either way, I believe a route presents itself."
Saffron: "Well… Someone walked this way, and… I *think* that's mortal blood?"
Saffron doesn't sound entirely suer and points at a patch near some tracks.
EHShimberley: "Men and fairy alike often share their blood."
Galen now sees the stuff, and looks down at the blood. "It might be, yeah.

Saffron: "Well um. Guess we should follow it?"
